The State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SAIF) is an accredited Paying Agency that acts as an intermediary responsible for the administration of financial subsidies allocated from the EU funds and Czech national resources. Under the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, EU subsidies are provided by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF), the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the European Fisheries Fund (EFF), and the EAFRD-funded Rural Development Programme (RDP). SAIF controls and authorizes aid applications submitted within all these programs.

Farmers represent another key community benefiting from the monitoring of agricultural practices demonstrated in the project. Activities that have attracted significant interest include managing crop water demand and estimating carbon stock, both of which were carried out on selected farms in Czechia.
